RESEARCH OBJECTIVES

The CSCM and GGA partnership will help establish important industry benchmarks for the club industry in Canada; provide valuable insight to support each CSCM member’s work with their board; and raise awareness of the CSCM amongst other stakeholders.

The research initiatives will ultimately act to increase reach and impact, one of the four Strategic Priorities of CSCM’s Vision 20/20.

APPROACH

CSCM and GGA will undertake TWO club industry research initiatives each year.

The first initiative will contain consistent research year-over-year on trends and best practices in the industry, largely informed by an annual survey of CSCM members (facilitated by GGA), with various topics from year to year that are aligned with the core competencies of club management.

The second initiative will target business media through lifestyle research initiatives that generate interest beyond the club industry.

Research initiatives will be informed by CSCM member feedback and input from the Research Steering Committee and presented jointly every year at conference.

  • Suzanne Godbehere, Chief Executive Officer, CSCM (Co-Chair of Research Steering Committee)
