Michele Klecha comes to GGA from the non-profit sector with 20 years’ experience in business development, fundraising, relationship building, member recruitment and retention, program creation and implementation.
Recently, Michele served as a Director of Corporate Relations for Club Managers Association of America (CMAA) where she developed and managed the Corporate Alliance Partner and Affiliate programs. In this role she implemented marketing and communications strategies, orchestrated contract fulfillment and reporting and established a task force and annual Partners Summit and multiple touring panels that delivered educational content to local chapters.
Previously, as part of the senior leadership team for the National Golf Course Owners Association (NGCOA), Michele was instrumental in growing the Smart Buy Network and building long term business relationships that benefited both members and industry-leading companies. She collaborated with allied associations on Golf Industry Show (GIS) and managed NGCOA’s participation in the GIS Solution Centers.
Michele is a graduate of James Madison University with a Bachelor in Communication Arts. Her professional affiliations include American Society of Association Executives and IEG.
